Why should the rules be any different then? Things may change in 25 years, but not in the next 5...

i still have my first car a riley elf, i have had it for 24 years, its been repainted in the last ten years and now is a rolling shell and has not been on the road since

I have been offered good money for it, the guy came with the cash i just could not sell her (it was a very good offer) I have not regretted it one day

Its been with me thru the good times and some bad just like family

If you don't need the money then make time to drive it once a month even for half an hour put in your diary,

I take my daughter to see her grandmother in my Mini and she loves it ( i have more than one Mini) make it a family thing

Cheers

Same here with the sports850 , bought it in 1992 , used it on the road , stored it , used it on the road , stored it , used it on club plates , stored it .... I know if I ever sold it I would regret it enormously ....

That's why you should GIVE me your sports 850 :D

Nah, I've got nowhere to keep more mini's anyways, plus I wouldn't want to take it off of Pete :)

Thanks guys! I think the muster came just at the right time. She looks great at the moment and I really did enjoy driving her over there and putting her on the dyno. The clutch didn't slip too bad, the stuffed heater core wound me up a bit but is now bypassed, the knocking ball joint at the front right isn't too bad, the carbie knock on the firewall didn't even wind me up! I was worried that the rear end was falling out until I got home to find my little bloke had dropped a mower spark plug spanner in between the spare and the back of the car!

My clean little car is now safely under a cover and will probably stay there until Christmas. Not selling, not de-reging, just going to do the minimum annual fluid changes and a few runs.

Oh, and the muster every year, especially if they keep being that much fun. Good onya Roundie.

Hey Mark, I reckon Noah would love me to buy it for him. He's got enough in his account for me to make up the difference.

What is it with kids eh? He loved it and was very upset at being removed from the Moke whilst it went on the dyno.
