hey thier well time fir some help again

i was driving to work and my front wheels kept looking, so what did i do stopd it and walkd to work lol calld a tow truck n took it back home

i knew it had something to do with the diff so i took out the engine and pulled apart the diff and found that the diff pin had shot out and was going around and broke the case hmm no good at all
pulled apart the actull diff and behind the copper washes is completly stuffed and now im stuck and dont know what to do :(

where would i be able to find a new housing/2nd hand


any other ideas please

If you know what type of diff it is then you should be able to pick up a second hand housing pretty easily, the same goes for the crown wheel and pinion (if they are stuffed), the side covers, planet gears and outputs...

Rebuilding something like this 'properly' is a costly exercise though, after you add up all the stuff. I would be asking myself why the diff pin broke in the first place... Do you like doing burnouts?

lol well nah the pin that was holding the the main diff pin wasnt strong n spilt, it looks like a water jacket

my dad called mini clinic and they said that they could repair the housing about 200$

I am not sure what model mini you have Is the gearbox a rod change or a remote type,
and is the gearbox housing damaged oronly the diff housing

well i have an innocenti

the gear box is a lil damaged but iv got the parts from a spare engine to fix that

the real problem that i have is that where the copper washers go behind it it has been all chewed up

This is the hemisphere housing, Is this any good in your spare Any mini Hemisphere housing will do the job
