I was wondering if anyone can shed light on this.

I had a morris mini matic and know there's meant to be the dot between mini and matic. However it also had a dot under the Morris badge on the bonnet. It is independent from the latch and seems to be just sitting there. I have looked on other cars and none seem to have the same... hmmm. Any info?

Sounds like a previous owner mod perhaps?
There's a few owners on here who have genuine original examples, I'm sure they can confirm that their cars' don't have it.

I had 2 Matics, no front dot on either.
Anybody needs a rear dot for a Matic (which are NLA) I make them out of S/S...
