By the time they do, Falken might have a new silica compound tyre in 10", they already do one in 12".

At the moment, we can not get hold of the A008s, the 'large' dealers don't have any, so I would say if you find some they are some old stock etc that people have had on thier shelves.

We tried from MSC in the UK and they where in the same boat, they said they where a few months away.

So is there a replacement for A008s? or do you have to choose 32Rs instead for softer and another tyre for harder compound?

What about Dunlop D93J ? but they are like 32R's and wear quick...
There has to be a medium wearing good tyre in 10" to replace the A008 surely?

Also, when people say 'Fast wearing' like the 32r or the D93J - what exactly does that mean?
How 'long' do they last (normal daily driving situation) if anyone can answer?

Pete

I got about 8000kms out of my D93Js.

I jsut got Bridgstones this week, ugly as all hell, but at $85 each, well you can't complain too much.

I really wanted A008s or more D93Js. D93Js shouldn't be hard to get, just that the SA dealer doesn't seem to exist so it's $140 shipped in, rather than $125 it seems.

A008s are very much out of stock here in SA at least. Various tyre shops couldn't get them from interstate. There computers said zero in Australia. So I'm not sure what's going on there.

yup...even over here, where we are the 3 largest producer of rubber in the world, one is finding it hard to find A0008.

Nevertheless, we still have other brands like bridgestone.... :D
