Is the crank primary gear journal undamaged?


The primary gear on my Cooper S engine was a small bore primary gear with the bronze bush removed so it would fit. It was running steel on steel...

No problems with the crank - been machined lightened and balanced and assembled by GR into the short motor. Just started looking properly at the rest of the bits as I'm starting to put it back together and noticed this :evil:

If it`s a small bore one David, i have plenty here,,, you can have the best one i have for free if you like

yeah i should be here David, just give me a quick ring before you come just to make sure,,, if i`m not here tho, i`ll probly only be 5mins down the road at the machine shop. or the engine reco shop or at Taylor St mechanical, (all in the one street in Bulimba) so just bell me & i`ll meet you here in a jiffy ok?
