Received my Mini King catalog today, and man is that ever comprehensive!!! Thanks John, and where do I find pricing? Also got the super CDs from Wombat, huge thanks there too.

I believe it was in the catalog that I found some headlights that said "for RHD only" or something like that.

Do headlights have something built in that makes them suitable only for driving on the right or on the left? I.e. some pattern in the glass that makes them brighter to the outside of the road and less blinding to oncoming traffic? Is it a huge deal?

I obviously have two RHD Oz coopers, but will be driving them in the US on the right, and wonder if I need to change the headlights out as part of the restoration.

tx,
bmc

For RHD the low beam dips to the left, for LHD the low beam dips right.
The glass lenses in the lamps are different for each.
For USA driving you want LHD ones, even though the car is RHD.

<edit> I use Wipac Quadoptics (H4 type) from Minispares UK, they are available in LHD or RHD.
