Hi everyone,

My mate is importing a ute into Australia, and I was telling him about Deans ute. I was wondering if anyone would have any pics of it?

Many thanks
Chris

Good question...I posted some a while back...but is it genuine ute or a cut-down van..I think the latter.

Dunno now , I remember other people insisting it was one of two or three genuine ute bodies his father imported and they fitted a clubby front to ???

It's a real one, yes Rocky put a Clubby front on to make room for the X-flow Elder head and MPI.

I heard the clubby front went on 'cause the shell was damaged when it was being unloaded at the wharves when imported. Story goes it was dropped on its nose.

The Mini Experience Issue 4, p34 for the full story.

One of five genuine utes imported my John Smidr when at Mini Kingdom. Front was damaged in transit, so Rocky Canto (Dean's dad) put the clubby front and Australisn doors on it.

Cheers,
Watto.
