Hey guys,
How is a mini Drum brake Assembled? Do you need too have the actual outer Drum part too have the wheel studs or are they joined too the axel?
And also How many variants of the van cames without the windows in the sides. If anyone has any photos or a Thread about windowless Vans can you please post them.

There is a hub which holds the CV Joint, Driveflange (contains studs), bearings, backing plate, drum..

All aussie built vans were available without windows as far as i know.
all were built with solid sides then people would cut them out for windows

If a 747 toilet cubicle is big enough then I'm sure a mini van would be more than ample. Just don't expect to lie down for a cuddle afterwards. :)

The factory sold them with the sides already cut out for you and windows fitted as an option.

dont know about auto

I have heard there was a cooper s'ed (or GT'ed) van produced, that had 1275 and discs as standard... also it said it on compliance plate. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

As far as I know their wasn't but they would have done anything for a sale :wink: . If it's any help mine will have an auto when it's done.

IMO window-less "blind" vans are rarer as most people have cut the panels out over the years to put glass in.
My rough guess would be 1 in 5 are blind.

Never heard of that one; although my Cooper S engine, brakes etc were plundered and put into a van when we stupidly sold it many, many years ago..... :cry:
