i know theres prolly already a million threads on tyres but the search feature doesnt work well on this site..

what tyres that are sold within australia would be best for 13" Wheels 13x6

id preffer a wide fit, preffer something slim, and not something overly sticky as i want them to last reasonably well but some grip would be nice..

recomendations ?

For what you want i would recommend the SIME Astar Prima 175/50R13

I run Toyo 720s in 175/70R13. They last ages because they have so much tread depth and being a winter tyre are pretty grippy in the wet and in mud or snow.

175/50 13 is the size you want (although your quote "id preffer a wide fit, preffer something slim" contadicts itself in my belief).

195/45 13s will fit, and look a bit fatter, but the tyres are hard to get.

Unfortunately when it comes to 13" tyres, its more of a case of what can you find rather than what can you afford.

by slim i meant thin.. and yeah i know what you mean about what you can find and what you cant.. i dont really want to spend more than $150 a tyre.. so simes probably the way to go..

i went searching for ages for a set for mine (13*5.5) and it came down to SIME astar prima or Yoko AO48's (both in 175/50R13), couldn't find anything in between the two, and i looked for about 4 months.

Got the YOKO's . . . mmmmm . . . corners

I got these on my car ( SIME Astar Prima 175/50R13)
and I cannot complain, they are acceptable for every day driving, but don't expect too much if you want to push it a bit

And I don;'t know how they go in the wet, because I don't drive or go out in the wet, I am a sissy...

Check ouit my Sig and you will see what I mean.

SIME's aren't bad even in the wet.
