Here is a different pic of what has to be done with the hydro pipe. The kit is the standard kit unmodified for Hydro a few people have done it now it's not a very big issue just need to move the pipe about 100mm towards the edge of the car.

Yes your car is what can happen when you have a stanard height hydro car and add a lot more power than it had before. I have seen a couple other hydro cars that show the same thing under acceleration nose up and squat the back down and they were only NA with a lot less power..

What type of mods and for what purpose?

I'm running Koni shocks at the front (from memory) and competition bump stops on the rear.

yeah it was pumped to stock height last time i got it pumped. i thought anything below stock was bad for the bags???

That is far too high for performance use, front wheels are pointing every which way.
Mine runs 2-3 fingers height at front, has done for 14 years.
Just let some fluid out....
My bags are 1970/71 vintage. Has Pedders shocks on front and comp bumpstops at rear.

Ok well my ideal is the coil over or shockers at front and bump stops at the back but right now i cant afford it i will be lowering it next chance i get but i want to do it with a hydro pump to get it even and so i dont injure myself trying to release the pressure

No way you will hurt yourself letting fluid out, just use the back of the valve cap to push the stem in a little bit. Then just hose it away, it's mostly water...

That would be the only mod needed just to stop the nose from lifting

I run comp bump stops on my standard hydro car and Ben's excellent kit works well.
I run front and rear as it give some protection if a displacer ever fails.
