I am interested in this too, I have a box of parts ready to get chromed up...

I guess the price will be dependent on the finish quality of the product before it gets chromed? Because there is less work for them to buff it flat?

Cheers,
Alex

Just a couple of Points
Some parts on Minis are stainless steel These can be metal polished giving it a chrome like finish, Clubman Bumpers are made from steel so chrome plating is the way to go, The Round nose Mini Can be fitted with stainless or Steel Bumper bars, The Clubman has an aluminium Grille From new these were anodised, It is possible to chrome plate these, However not all Electroplaters Chrome Aluminium

about 3 years ago i had a clubman front bumper rechromed, it had beed previously stripped of it chrome.

It still cost $200 to have rechromed, the process is not cheap, especially since most of the chemicals used in the process have gone up over 50% in price.
