My 1132 Moke is getting a 12G1316 (1275 smog head) and the block notched.
Why?
1. The head cost me nix, for a start... one inlet seat was rusted right away from outside storage, so I made a valve seat insert and fitted it at GR's.
2. I had to take very little out to tidy the porting up, rather than port the hell out of a 202. A couple of hours with the die grinder fixed it.
3. I had a 940 head on my old 1220 motor (with a 544 cam) back in the 60s, and the thing absolutely flew... until I broke it.

Slight thread hijack.
Does anyone have the ring gap specs and the ring order for the GR flat tops? Mine came with bore-piston clearance info but no info on the rings...

Cheers,
Alex

I would ring Graham and ask him, he specified the ring pack.
