Sometime back somebody said (it may have been Watto ??? ) that if hard times come the first thing to suffer will be the value of unique cars and historics.

Many cars have unrealistic values on them and that includes $500k Falcon GT's. But... whats realistic ?? It is much less than it has cost. Even in good times people rarely recover their costs.

Also people have different needs with their "toy" cars. For some it is the process of restoration that gives the most joy - even if the restoration take twenty years. For others it is the process of simply owning and driving "the" car.

Its saleable but market carefully.

Mike

get it on ebay, and in the trader.

It is very hard to sell complete Minis on here becaue of the knowledge we have available. It makes us terribly picky. It would be like selling wood to a Saw mill.

Selling older cars you need patience...the buyer could be just around the corner but it might take months or minutes for them to find your car for sale.

I hope you have an engineering cert for the seats? and maybe the 8.4s (not too sure about that one) but thats what any prospective buyer with half a brain will be asking.

Good Luck :D
