getting my cooper S serviced this Thursday so finaly a use for my car trailer YAY i've fitted some round eye bolt things to the subframes so its wasy mounting, so no more rubbing on the bouncy highway cutting the straps

ready to go!! Looks great, it tilts and tows nicely according to smelly. ( hes used it more than me)

I dont wish to be a smartar$e but, with strapping a car down by the body lets the suspension work and pull on your straps, if you run the straps over the wheels it lets the car bounce all it likes but puts a whole lot less strain on your straps.
I towed my mini to Adelaide from Melbourne this way and my straps stayed nice and tight the whole way.

yep all up. I asked him on ebay what the buy it now price was and said $1100. talking to him he just enjoys making them, covering his costs plus a little bit more


The straps are mounted to the ringlets ( Big strong engine lifting ones) to teh subframe. so not touching the body to rub. The suspension moves and doesn;t damage the straps.
