hey,

Im gonna stop complaining now. Its high but he has to make money and is running a business i guess. Sorry for the rant. Its only 16 dollars so who cares, its a movie ticket!

I asked him why it was so expensive and he said it weighs 3kg with packing... I know they call the black book the bible but I never knew it was as big as a bible! :) :)

Some people on ebay tries to make money out of postage. In 2 cases where I bought something from the UK, both showed the postage on the box and I go what.

Only half of what I paid was used on the postage and 1 packed the item in a beef lasagne box, and what's inside is a fragile item which ended up being damaged. So now I try not to buy things from overseas, people take advangtages over you being living far.

Whereas I bought things locally here on ebay, people are more honest. I just felt sellers from the UK are less trustworthy than our Aussie counterparts.

Be yeah, e sure you ask "how much" before you hit the button.

Oz postage is bloody dear now.
A member in NZ sent me a K&N filter so I could mod his 2 new stubstacks, it cost him NZ$8.
I posted it all back a few grammes lighter and it cost me A$14.. WTF! :x

Caveat Emptor

Always ask postage before bidding, if you don't agree with the price, don't bid.

Try this one I bought a carpet set from England on Ebay from a supposed famous reputable company that has been around for years ( not newton commercial) , they quoted standard international rate of 25 pounds, I was then told that it would cost 65 pounds to send after I had paid the 25 pounds . Several phone calls and some angry emails and 3 weeks later they finally agreed to send it with no further charge and I would have it in 7 days , well guess what they decided this was way to expensive so they sent it international economy , I bought the carpet on oct 4 2008 guess when it turned up ........, YESTERDAY.

I once bought something on eBay and paid the advertised postage cost. When the package arrived i found some coins in the box... It was my change. The postage worked out cheaper than the guy estimated so he chucked a couple of bucks in the box.
