Anyone know if the dash stuff would normally be black, even with a colored interior upholstery?

I looked at some issues of TME (issue 1 - aussie car compared with UK car), the restored ones have the top and bottom rails in black, and the dash mat & padding in the trim colour

Dash rails are always in black. Everything else in trim colour, including the boot board (MK1). MK2 boot boards always black.

According to the BMC book....
1960-66 Hawthorne Green/British Racing Green 5185
1963-65 Cedar Green/British Racing Green 5656
1965-66 New Cedar Green/New British Racing Green 5258

Now the Dulux book lists...
1961 British Racing Green 00036
1964-65 British Racing Green 00862
1964-65 Cedar Green 06543
1966 New Cedar Green 01322

Oh, thanks! That clears it right up!!! :)

Mine too. At this point, until I go for concourse, I think I'm going to just find something I like and go for it.
