What age transit ? Have a look at Zizzles thread in here , http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic ... c&start=30 , part way down the page is his vans bare shell in the back og a transit but not quite fitting with the doors shut , doubt it would fit with wheels on either plus you've got to remember if it breaks free it will kill you if you hit the brakes ...

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

i'm thinking of transporting a car, bearing in mind that my only vehicle at the moment is a mini k and i don't plan on driving to qld and back. So i thought you might be able to fit one in the back of a long wheel base one?

borrow a car with a towbar (parents usually have one) and rent a trailer

they only have sport cars, midlife crisis. It would be harder to hire a trailer and return it to a different location then just hiring a van or truck wouldn't it?

yep.... but it's hard to get a car in the back of a van or truck unless it's set up for it with ramps - ask MiniMad and Betty how hard it was to get their moke in the back of a truck

I have a Ford Econoline E350 which is the big American van that is much bigger than a Transit. I have measured the Econoline and a Mini would only just fit as long as it had no mirrors or flares. Then it would just barely scrape in.

Simon, how about an Econoline? Just cut it off behind the front seats.
