Does anyone have some advice on getting that stupid little wheel cylinder "C" clip onto the cylinder ? (rear drum assembly)

Ive walked away from the garage twice in a very frustrated state.

There is actually a Minispares tool for this but I can't seem to find it now.
It's just a long 3/8 UNF setscrew , a conical spacer which sits on the cylinder and an outer sleeve and nut.
To use it you screw the bolt into the cylinder port, the clip sits on the cone and when you do the nut up the sleeve pushes the clip up the cone and onto the cylinder.

I've been threatening to make one for years.. ie. every time I need to do this job.
A screwdriver and a few expletives works too. Usually...

 I have an idea Minisport carries this tool in Oz...

So, is it safe to assume the clip is attached whilst the brake line NOT fitted to the cylinder ?

Appreciate you reponse Drmini !

I found the tool on "minisport's" webpage, out of stock at the moment......

"easier" is a term that is used "loosley" with a mini.

But I'm ordering one for sure.....

Thank again
