Mines not mounted on the radiator, it is mounted in the space so you can lift the motor in and out without having to take the radiator out first.

I fitted an 11 inch fan on my clubby easily, but it does have morris rad brackets so i had an extra inch of room. The standard mounting pins went through the last row of fins.
Davies-craig fans are high quality, thin and last ages.
