 Post subject: wiring loom

i got a new wiring loom for my car and im trying to hook up the wiper motor but the loom i have has 4 wires green, brown and green, red and green and black i was just wondering if all the wires are the same except the black im guessing its an earth if so can i just put that wire on the wiper motor screws?

With 4 wires you must have a 2 speed wiper motor? if so these have to be earth to the body, as standard they had a black wire that was screw to the motor using one of the bolts that holds the wiper motor cover on, then its earthed to the top of the bulkhead,, there a hole there for the earth.
