Hey Guys,

Been on here for a little while but i thought i would introduce myself...

I have a 67 Deluxe that i purchased about 3 months ago... the car was 75% complete in the form of rebuilt motor, new paint and inertia.... it needed new brakes, front and rear screens, new chrome all round, new seat belts and a complete re-wire....

I am at 90% now, just need to finalise brakes, attach the flares, fix some clutch issues, finalise some chrome bits (some parts i have no idea how they go on), but i am learning, sometimes the hard way, there also is the re-wire so i can start it with the key

I am in the Bellbird Park area of Brisbane/Ipswich and hope to have it together soon so i can come to a Mini cruise, the hardest part is finding the time to work on her among the usual day to day stuff.

Below are the latest pics...

Hi Jabba! Love your mini :) What chrome bits are you stuck on?

Feel free to come along to our Brissy cruises whenever you want, you dont have to bring the mini, all cars are welcome :)

Hi guys, Dat is Back!

Been a couple years now, [busted mini and no cash to fix it]
Well Donkey is running as my only daily these days but now running the original 1098 motor while the 1293 is reworked. Nearly there!

So cheers to all the old hands and Hi to those who are new, hope to catch a few of you out there soon. :p

Hey all

Not probably the usual intro as i actually dont own a Mini - had a moke back in the UK many years ago but that doesn't really count.

However my mate Geoff is obsessed with them and i have embarked on restoring his 1964 850 as well as keeping his 1989 Jap import Rover Mini on the road.

The 850 is a full restoration inc full rebuild of engine and gearbox and have started documenting it on my website - www.myrotary.com.au. (Yes, im into rotarys and Landrovers)

Anyway having lots of fun working on the two minis, no matter how fustrating it can be at times, thankfully ive own landrovers so well versed in all things British and motorised.

Heres a few pics.
