hi. help please

can any one tell me or link me to a bit of info about my engine.

it is a carby model, but it originally was a fuel injected.

some one said these are much smoother engines then the older type or older rovers?

better gear ratio??

any one link or shed some light..

JUST GOT NO IDEA REALLY.
