Hi all,

I have on my car a set of widened wheels. I believe that they are 'Firsat' wheels. The chrome on them has seen better days, especially around the wheel nuts etc.

Now I believe these wheels never came with hubcaps, however I'm hoping I'm wrong and that there is in fact a cap to suit these wheels. Can anyone tell me I'm wrong and show me some pictures of suitable caps.

My other option is to have them re-chromed. How much do you think this would cost?

Here are my wheels.

Cheers,
Ryan

Hey mate they are often called rostyle wheels, they were fitted to late clubmans, clubman s derivative only i think (my clubby s had them). Yes they definitely have been widened and no they did not come with hubcaps unfortunately.

I think about the only thing that may fit (dont quote as i havn't tried) are dress rims which are a chrome ring that clips to the out edge.

Not sure about the firstat bit though

Cheers Brenton

Those wheels never ever had real hubcaps, just a little Leyland cap in the centre hole.

No idea on chroming cost but it won't be cheap these days.

Yeah, just as I thought.

Oh well. Looks like I will have to get them chromed again. I have a set of the centre caps as well so I might get them chromed too......when I have money....after I build a new engine.

IF they are Firsats (Italian) they are not Rostyles.
Firsats were used on Innocenti Minis too.

Rostyles were made by Rubery Owen, hence the name.
GT wheels ARE Rostyles.

pedantic I know...
