Harley, yep. It's gonna be on Ebay soonest. It is better than the lock grips I had to resort to though. You'd have to be a gorilla to manhandle a 10" wheel like that and I am far too delicate.

Pump the front tyres up to about 50psi and it will be a lot lighter.

Floss, the final wiring fit off will be done in the next week or so. I'll wait until it's up and running before giving you a report. It's just that, the engine and box installation and final finishing touches for the interior. Door cards, seats, rear parcel shelf, instruments etc. Oh, and a real sized steering wheel 8)

Hey,
Ok sweet.
Who is doing the wiring? Are you putting the old loom in, making a new one or buying a new one and butchering it to suit.

You must be excited, you are pretty close to finished now.
Keep the small wheel. you will have guns of steel :)

No, it's a totally new one. I found some guys that make looms for custom Harleys and they are doing it with the immobiliser, alarm & gps built in.

cool.

I am scared of wiring and think that that is a stellar idea. I knew that you are getting the badass alarm system but didn't know they are doing your whole loom. Let me know when you are ready to reveal it to the world. the loom that is :)

I need some advice. I am thinking of entering the Cooper S and the Nanas car for the Mini@50 at the Melbourne Showgrounds. Can anyone advise me as to what category the Cooper S should go into? You can see the dirty pics and all that doesn't show is the re-built motor and the KAD g'box. Is that original enough or am I nutz? Do I just leave it in the carpark? (the 850 is easy even for me to figure out; it's bog standard and original.
