Try this to test the distributor side of the circuit.
Ignition off for entire test.
Disconnect all wires from - side of coil.
Connect your test light clip to the main power lead on the start solenoid, now the test light will light up when the probe is put to ground.
Put the test light probe to the wire from the distributor.
With the points closed it should light, open and it should be out.

when i pull - wire off coil and put circuit tester clamp on power, pointy end on wire to dizzy open and close the points the light just stays on it doesnt go out......tried other coils that are on other cars and they have the same problem on my car so cant be my coil.>????????????????????????????????????

Yep, coil probably ok.
Check where the wire going into the dizzy isnt rubbed through.
Check where the wire bolts to the pin on the points, it must be insulated from the pin, only contacting the points spring.
