Also stick to the pace Molly's happy with , don't try to keep up with traffic if it's flowing at 110kph and Molly runs best at 90 .

i had a fight with a gutter last night, i believe i won. and now molly doesn't pull to the left so much either. lost a bit of bark of my rim though.

well i ended up leaving brisbane later then i had planned to. so the mechanic is looking at molly now. he may only be done by the end of the day so depending on when i can get ready by and when molly is ready we may be leaving this afternoon or tomorrow.

molly was so loaded up from brisbane. i looked like one of those people who live in their car. i could still see out for merging just. but there was a stack of stuff next to me so i had to be careful taking corners.

Good advice there, when we drove my K from Brisbane to Melbourne we kept it between 90 and 100 the whole way and besides using a fair amount of oil, it went as smoothly as it could.

Just make sure the car's prepped, and take lots of water and oil. You'll need more than you think ;)

the trip will be easy but to be on the safe side take every thing that you can think of with you and a bottle of scotch so that you can have something to drink / pass the time while waiting for the trailer and tow car to get you at 3 in the morning in the rain.

leaving tomorrow at 6 or 7 sharp. if i get to the first destination before midday, may consider doing the rest after a nap. although it means i'll be tired for the rest of the trip moreso, expodential scalewise and i'll arrive int he gong at night.

so may just have a relaxing time in the afternoon sleep till midnight then so the rest and be in wollongong by morning.

we'll see what happens, let the road decide my fate.

Andrew has just left Coffs Harbour and is going well despite his oil pressure light flashing briefly (has oil , sender was drenched so hopefully that's all) and it's absolutely pouring rain here ... Andrew also needs weather seals on his doors as Molly is currently sufferring from high tide in the footwells and will need a good drying out ,

Check out the old phone in the back window , the height of Mullumbimbi technology ...

Needs some flares too ...

Bye Bye Andrew and Molly ,
