Don't forget, the cover has only done 96000 miles. Barely worn at all.
They are very rare and prone to rust, look it has no rust. :?

I think he has set this up to get a free ad for the rest of the car. Nobody will buy the rocker cover but he is likely to sell the engine, head and interior without incurring any seller fees. All it will have cost him is a listing fee, peanuts.

The photo is of the inside of the rocker cover, which i must say is pretty clean!

But what does the exterior look like, i bet he is lying to get $450 and it's actually rusty on the top!

precisely - that would indicate to me the engine is in pretty good nick ( at least no blow-by), which is probably what the ad is all about.
