Drive it.

Even with accomodation and fuel, it should work out cheaper.

Yeah,

Driving it would be more fun, and the new owners will be totally in tune with the car by the time they get it home!

It would be an adventure for sure......

I did Sydney - Adelaide a few times in my trusty LC Torana and only had one puncture and a dead alternator from it although I did need to use the heater going across the Hay plains in 40 degree heat to keep the engine from overheating........

an adventure for sure...........

it's not up to you to convince them either way. assist with getting a quote, then let them make the decision!

I'd drive it back personally, I love adventurous road trips.

Depends on if they know their way around minis too. ie basic fixes.. points, belt change, hose change, electrical repairs. etc.

Drive it - its great fun! I did Sydney to Adelaide (mini) and also Melboure to Adelaide via GOR (sprite) after purchasing the cars.

I have driven to Hay return and Melboure return aswell in the mini.

Matt
