have just fit a woodgrain dash everything works but the tacho, was wondering if anyone knew wiring sequence for these. new tacho on board was hooked up same as origanal tacho when installed. not sure weather needs another earth.

any help much appreciated.

hi mate

this might help, if you are adding a tacho to a PCB off a 2 guage you will need to run an additional earth.

thanks will try seperate earth.

these are a set of three not an add on . as have taken out standard three cluster and replaced with magnolia three cluster that came with dash.

will post pics when get home.

I'm pretty sure when I put a UK cluster in my Mini I had to run an earth but cant honestly remember. It's out of the car at the moment so will look and take pics a bit later this morning.

EDIT - Picture added showing the green and red wire I added and the spot that it needs to be screwed to on the pcb. Hope this helps.

This has one round plug but clster i have has a round and a squre as origanal dash, would it be a negative or a positive cluster.

Ps thanks for the pics and help cause no one else has.;

The green and red wire are plugged onto the Spade connector.

Can you put up a photo of yours for me to look at?

can i email them to you. your guage is a little different in this area but same for rest.
