I'm told they did make them for mini's.

i want one for a leyland it is a 70's model.

any one got one? is this for real? i guess id need the full thing maybe they are from rover mini's?

steve from briq's reckons he has one some where. but he cant find it.

Tow bars were a factory accessory as well as an aftermarket accessory.

Maximum towing weight for a Mini is 406kg (8cwt)

i have a nice man who makes new ones as we copied one and made a jig to make them.
unfotunatly for you he is in melboune
he also makes them for vans as well. :)

I had a normal one given to me, I hate how the standard ones bolt to the boot floor, so I cut it up and made one that's much stronger, and mounts properly

I've got one here complete with an anti vibration damper on the forward mount. The mount is longer than usual and bolts under the rear floor pan so it won't distort the boot.

Yes they are real. I have one fitted to mine a year ago I tow my motorcycle time to time very handy

Looking at the BMC accessories book they list one part number for the 850 and another number for the rest (Deluxe, K, Cooper S), I wonder what that is all about?

I reckon the hydro pipes will get in the way if they have a stabilizer in the center of the boot floor.
