Hi Guys, found the best air con, aside from the free stuff that comes in the windows while going along. I was looking around for something that would be suitable, because my mini is a daily driver, I tend to sit in alot of traffic jams, especially when im in Brisvageas or wateva they call it, lol.

I have been on the look out for this sort of thing for ages, tried all the cheap stuff @ supercheap and that, and they never really were suitable, or broke within a week, but this fan seems to be great. :)

It got everything you need. It has a fan, Fm radio which has great reception :) (almost better then my HU, lol), Am radio, very strong 3 LED's light, alarm(great for looking for things in the dark, if your mini hasan't got an interior light :)), clock. It has a strong large clamp, that clips onto almost anything, and has a strong flexible neck, to twist it into wateva position you want. Tho, just for safety, I do tie it to the door, or wateva is closest, just for piece of mind. :)

As you can see I have two of them, which can be clamped in many places, pictures just so a few. They don't get in the way, for driving purposes, but i normally only put them up, when I use the mini for non' highway use, when there is no air-con coming through the windows, lol, but you can keep them there, if you wish.

If anyone wants any for their mini I can get them for $45 plus $10 - 15 postage to anywhere in Australia. Just PM me or email me, or msn me, whichever you find easiest.

Anyway, here are some pics, of what ive done.

lol, i was waiting for someone to say that, it looks like it from the camera, cos its zoomed in and all, but they are not as big as they look in the picture. The one on the door, doesent get in the way at all, it sits directly in the view of the front pillar, so its no problem where it is, no different to normal, and well the one in the middle of the car, now and again, is in the way, but I only put that one on, when im in slow traffic,( takes about all of 2 secs to put on) and yea, but i have driven with it there, on the highway and all, and its no problem, but I guess for people who can't drive for crap's as it is, it would be a problem to them, but it really no big drama.

Overall they are not in the way. No. I'm not joking either. :!:

I love having air con now   8) 8) :P its sooo good.

Mitch typing here.

why did you get the ugly looking twins?
doesn't your fan/heater work properly?

plus, its not air conditioned... its just two fans stuck to your dash.

So does it come with an optional ice mounting rack to cool the air before it goes through the fan?

firstly mitch you posted twice, you realise, lol

secondly, if you noticed, in the pic, i took out my heater system, because it ain't worth sh**, they don't provide you with air, to the face, or anything like the new cars do nowadays, as there is no vents like that, but mainly i took it out, so that i could have alot more leg room, which proved to me a great success!! Plus mine being magic wand, it was kinda in the way, and all that, and you never needed the heater, cos the heat from my engine, and the way i drive solves that :)

Yea I'd have to agree on you that they are a little ugly as such, but they do the job, and thats all that matters :)

and minidrifter, like i said, the picture puts them out of proportion. I have no problems :)
