That only applies when the plate is removed.
This one has never been fitted. 8)

i think the mods should be looking at this thread very closely.
the libel laws apply to the internet as well as any other media.
my advise would be to tread very, very closely.

ps i have no vested interest in either the product or the seller

I think the problem is the fact he has put a body number on the plate, and IF it is attached to a car it will therfore change the cars identity. If it had my cars body number on it, I would be straight off to the cops, to get him charged.
or what happens if the bloke who actualy owns car with the number on the plate wants to get his car re-registered??? but the bloke who has bought the plate off ebay has already regod the car with its identity. Could 2 cars be reg with the same body number???

Beside the obvious facts about the stamped numbers, the plate itself is easily recognisable as not original. For starters the silver boarder is too thick and the font weight is too thin. The type "THE BRITISH MOTOR CORPORATION" should take up the full width of the plate. :x

To you and many on Ausmini perhaps, but I'll bet my left nut that the inspector at the local motor registry wouldn't recognise it as a fake, and that's who you've gotta fool...
