they work alright if you rig them up to some bike pedals... that's what wives are for, you get them to pump the fuel while you drive - the faster you go, the more weight they lose

I suppose you could hook it to the camshaft and make it into a mechanical fuel pump, would that work? :?

No electric fuel pump issues though :wink:

maybe... but where?? - the oil pump is at one end, and the timing gear is at the other - it's not like you could put it half way along

Only SU pumps have electrical problems, SU = Self Unadjusting... :lol:

Maybe you could stick it halfway along but it would be a struggle. You would have to pull the manifold off to get near it.

It would be much easier to stick it near the radiator and let the fan knock the arm to operate the pump. You would get 16 pumps per revolution depending on the fan.
