I was checking a few thing out in the van and noticed that the coil won't cool down...
Why is this happening??

So the key is out but it continues to stay real hot.

It must be getting power from another source.
Is there any accessories hooked to the coil? (tacho, radio)

Best to hotwire the radio then, unless you have an accessories position on the switch (that works).
