Ring Telsta (or however your provider is) they will check the line and tell whether it is a fault or left off hook

Bloody hopeless telcos - Can't ring Telstra cause I'm Optus - "do you know if the other party is with Optus sir?" No I don't - You will have to ring their service provider " I don't know who that is " You will have to CALL THEM AND FIND OUT" ????? WTF

Used to be able to call service difficulties - tell them the problem they would check the line and say yeh or nah and if faulty report it - end of story

GR's Exchange is full of water, Telstra has diverted his phone to the Mobile, but when i was there yesterday, he was on it most of the day anyway...... I wouldn;t be surprised if he has just turned it off.

I was there this morning, yes the phone is still down and Telstra are `supposed' to be diverting the calls to his mobile..
