I'm Ash, from Blacktown, NSW. I just bought a 1100 mini off matt (user: mattsmadmini). Its a bit run down, so im looking to fix it up, firstly get it road worthy and registerd. After, i will then look to putting a turbo on it and go from there. Very excited, my first project car.

I've been around for a bit but I guess I should introduce myself officially in this thread! I have already done so a few months ago in a different section of the forum, but a bit has changed since then!

My name is Ben, I live in the Gold Coast (5 mins from Lockie infact). I currently have two minis;
a 1962 Morris 850 which I'm restoring


and a recent 1976 Clubman purchase.

Hi bigtimmyp, nope.
Every morning I come on to Robina parkway from Scottsdale Drive(where Mercedes is) and turn left towards the highway. Then head north to Sanctuary Cove.

I ve been hanging round here for a few weeks but only just signed up and thought i would say g'day. I am living in wallsend in newcastle and have always loved cars and tinkering with engine and I have always loved minis but never owned one (i'm 26) until TODAY

I just drove to sydney to pick up a 1973 clubman S in fairly rough condition with rust in all the seams etc but it is all complete and i like a challenge - oh and the price was right.

Anyway already this website has been a wealth of information and I can see that once I get stuck into the project I will get so much more - always good when your not flying blind and someone else has been there done that.
