A new 7 port head is now being made in Australia.

Ive had a couple of emails from Ken today regarding this, Would love some oppinions on the elder head, as it may be a long term solution to one of my engines.

We ran a 1360 at Graham Russell's a few years ago with an 8 port Elder head.
With a mild cam (RE13?) 1.5 rockers and twin Webers it made over 140HP at crank.

Dean Canto's ute has one, but with MPI, mapped ignition, etc.
Very pretty...

I don't care how much they are, but I'm definitely getting one for the Deluxe when I ever get it finished.

I don't get why you'd buy a 7 port when there is an 8 port available - the price couldn't be much different

You get to save your exhaust system (headers/extractors) at least... there's some saving.
And supposedly 7 and 8 ports are very very close, power wise.
