Anybody know anything at all about this Mini on EBay ? Does it belong to someone here ? 170329831806

(Answers off list if you want...Complete discretion assured.)

I'm looking at this one, one up in Queensland and another in Melbourne. Trouble is, I'm in Adelaide and I'm trying to get as much detail as possible before I commit. My LS requires more work than I am prepared to put in to make it pretty again so I've been looking for months now. I want to get one NOW. Can't wait any longer.

Cheers,

smithy.

Got my room booked at Cobbs and I'm looking forwad to the sound of floor chimes again.

Hey champ, Hay will be a blast once more i am sure.
Re that car, im pretty sure i have seen it down at Mini classic over the years, so maybe give Greig a call and ask him what he thinks. He'll give you an honest appraisal.
Cheers
Aaron

Not a bad price for what is running.

What about this one..... http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/MOR ... 93070.aspx ...it looks pretty good in the ad and it’s in SA……I’ve been looking at 170329831806 myself, as there don’t seem to be many round noses on the market here in Vic…..lot’s in NSW though

I like the description of a LH Cooper S tank - all minis had the same LH tank, except for the late clubmans, which the tank in this car is from... it's the big one

All part of the fun of trying to pick a good’un using photos…..the only reason I suggested it was because it’s in the op’s home state….which I’ve found to be a definite advantage in my current vehicle search.

I’ve been to look a number now that have presented well on the net, an the owners have described as being in good condition, in line with the price being asked…..but when you actually get there……

doesnt look to bad,it says 1275 bored to 1310 but no mention of disk brakes, still its worth a look.
