So me and my father were driving around in the lancer machine to my sisters house and as we were traveling i ended up taking a detour and on the way we noticed an unregestered clubman sitting infront of a garage.

We went back a couple of hours later, found the guys house, knocked on his door, and turns out he wouldn't mind getting rid of it.

So downstairs we go, look at it, offer him cash there and then and he accepted. So i got a 1976 Leyland s (i thinks?) for 400 dollars, needs a bit of work, but nothing i haven't done on the '65 in the garage.

I will get some photo's as soon as we get it back down to the gold coast.

The $400 will be just the start of it, but I hope you have fun with it.
Well done!

If youve got insurance issues try shannons. I pay 600 a year fully comp for one mini driven everyday. And got a quote to drive a starlet engined clubman 2 days a week for 300. So if you have 2 get them both insured for limited use and your set. Going to be my plan

We approached Shannons for my son when he got his P's - because my toys are insured with them they gave him rating 1!

Try calling them up, forgot to mention its dual ownership with my dad and hes rating 1. Definitely call, and have a chat to them, ive only called them once and not had a chat about cars to the person on the phone. But the starlet clubman quote i got was for me on my own, driven 3 days a week, agreed value of 10 grand, salvage rights and everything. The mini is insured as a daily and 5 grand agreed value.
