Anyone got one?
I purchased one for an A+ without vaccum advance and when it arrived and Iooked at the position of the rotor button in comparison to the position on the old distributor there was a large difference.
Original Distributor (Lucas Rover) the rotor button was in line with the drive slot. E.g.
Rover distributor:
drive cog /
Rotor Button /
123 Distributor
drive cog /
Rotor Button \
I know in theory it shouldn't matter as long as the rotor button makes contact with the various leads at the right time but the positioning makes it not possible to follow the diagram and instructions as supplied (and I'm not feeling that inventive

). I.e. When I setup the existing distributor to setup at 1 to 2 o clock and then put the new 123 distributor in place it is at ~10 o'clock.
2nd question is what coil to use with this distributor. I want with instructions in hand to an auto place on the weekend and left 1/2 hour later frustrated as the "sales guys" (read pimply teenagers) were adamant that I needed to look for a Rover Mini coil from a Mini from 1988 to 1994.
