Hey guys, i'm a newB to ausmini, so apologies if its a silly question....

I hav a squared nosed mini and i want to remove the grill to give it a bit of a freshen up. Is this just a matter of removing the screws at the top and around the headlights??

Cheers

Ben :)

The 3 that fit into the slots in the body to stop the grille rattling against it (underneath)

Yep , the rattle away to it's hearts content comment generally means you don't have the little plastic/nylon inserts ... They make a huge difference to clubby type grilles .

Ben,

When you have got the grille out (easy job), also remove the screws that join the head light surrounds to the grille. Freshen up the whole thing in three 'bits'.

If you really want to, also remove the badge (in the middle) and paint it the same colour as the car :)

Thanks Rodney,

Yeah i had planned on separating the three, knowing my luck it would probably break if i left it as one piece.

or do what i did that time I repainted the grill after i first bought her... spend 20mins painstakingly masking up all the bits of the leyland and S badge because no one told me they came off    :?
