ive got Brownrigg's.
Have had them since i had my engine built.
its a 1293 metro block ported head, weber ,etc etc..goes allwright...
pulls to just under 7000rpm

there link is here..

http://www.linkautomotive.com.au/

write up as follows..

Used by lap record holders on every race circuit in Victoria and other states.

Link Automotive manufacture Brownrigg extractors exclusively.

Features:

Long Centre Branch
(L.C.B.) design - proven to give results on 'A' Series engines - by separating the exhaust pulses, the exhaust valves stay cooler.
Full bore mandrel bent tubing used throughout.
Superior shaped flanges Heavy Duty 3/8" thick - to avoid distortion
Designed to suit round or 'D' shaped ports - for superior flow potential
Exclusive collector design with sliding joint in optimum position - under the car.
Designed - in the heyday of the Mini Cooper 'S' - by Ron Brownrigg. Intended for maximum power, hence these extractors can only be fitted when a Weber type inlet manifold is used, or in conjunction with our Supercharger kit.

they look lke this...

Ok,,, these are an old set from one of my speedway minis, But!!! there`s not much better in the "Hight-Performance" extractor dept than these... & i mean "High" performance,,,

Image

definately not recomended for road use & for a number of reasons, one of which is ground clearance, but the main reason is that they just don`t really work well until you`re into the 6000rpm mark,,, from there up to about 9000rpms they work "REALLY" well :-)

I have brand new sets of these for sale @ $400 per set,,, But like i said, best to use only on full race engines

otherwise, for most road-use minis (big bore or small bore) , the free-flow (3-into-1) systems work very well up to about 7000rpms,,, (exceptionally good for doqwn low torque---> next up from there is the (many types/brands) of LCBs,,, They work quite well up to about 8000rpms but some of these systems can tend to suffer a little down low (depending on the rest of the engine build, cam & head choice mainly)

but you should all pay particular attention to the fitment & flanges with any extractors you fit,,, most need a bit of a clean up (die-grind) to open & clear the ports correctly,,, most times it`s best to have the extractor flanges holes "Bigger" than the exhaust ports for the anti-reversion characteristics.

I paid $320 for them.
then i saw the same thing at the shop a thew years later that was jet hot coated like the ones in photo.
this coating is inside and out its great..so i swaped them over and it cost me $190 change over...
you would be better ringing them and seeing if the price is the same.
will add they are made buy the guy next to link...
think its called hp peformace..
and hes a little slow :( so give planty of time as i asked for the collector pipe for mine so i can make up another exhaust system about three weeks ago and im still waiting.
