Just wondering if anyone out there can help or has any tips for replacing belts on a SC12 charged mini?

I have replaced 2 belts this week but they keep shredding (very frustrating)

Bolt on tensioner pulley has been tightened as per previous threads

hopefully someone out there can help

i had exactly the same problem. Check the sc12 pulley, an kind of disformation will shredd the belt really quickly. you want it completely smooth if its a smooth type no small lumps. and make sure ur tensioner puller is bolted on properly if it loosens it might lean on an angle or sheer the bolt inside. to get the belt on loosen off the tensioner as much as possible. i like to feed the belt down from behind the water pump to the harmonic balancer and then line up the tensioner pulley and try to get the belt on the top edge first and if i get frustrated and fail then i put the car in 4th and roll it to rotate the harmonic balancer but i wouldnt suggest that as it might wreck your brand new 40 buck belt
