WTF is going on  I fitted the new brake cyl, bled the rear system and they were all good. Go out for a drive and they stop working again the same way, pedal kept getting lower and lower until I had no brakes. So today I checked the rear cylinders again and they seem fine, theirs no fluid in the rubber seals and I can't see any coming out anywhere  looked over the disc's and couldn't see anything their either.
If I pump the pedal up fast I get some feel but as soon as I let the pedal up and push down again it goes straight to the floor :x
Any one got any more ideas :?:

Ok we bled them again and the pedal came good but we couldn't get much or any fluid out of the drivers rear cyl.
(1) Is this bias necessary or can a simple T piece be fitted?

(2) http://www.minisport.com.au/prod616.htm After reading the description do I need a new one?

The tiny little bleed hole in the rear cylinders can fill with crud.
Take the nipple out and stick a bit of wire in there, or a tiny twist drill.
If still no fluid, your rear hose is swollen shut. Fit 2 new ones.

Yes that limiting valve is essential, if you bin it the rear brakes will lock up.

It's a brand new cylinder But I will have a look at the nipple.
All the hoses, metal and rubber are brand new (6 months or so).
The valve was an old one I had lying around, when I put it on I didn't clean it or rebuild it but it has been working fine until now which is why I think it may be faulty. What we can't understand is theirs no fluid coming out but the brake still works on that wheel  :? .

Somebody on either this forum or MM one said they had bought a new rear wheel cylinder, and found the bleed hole wasn't drilled!!

Don't press hard on the brakes when bleeding the rears, or that valve will lock the fluid flow off.

Thats what i've been told, that when bleeding the back only use light pressure on the pedal, otherwise the valve locks and you only get a tiny amount of fluid out.
