The Rosepetals really suit the English MK1's. Give me tartan red with black roof, gold brocade interior and black Rosepetals any day! 8)

On an Australian MK2 you can't beat the 6" Mamba's filling up the flared guards. 8)

ahhh I had my heart set on those D1's on ebay.... but these... oh. my. god.

If you're talking these... They're not D1's. They're Mark II Tasmans. In really, really nice condition. Look at the pictures further down the page - the vanes are out on the surface, not scooped into the wheel. Doogie had a set for sale on here a few months ago, same price, similar condition, just that the back section hadn't been painted black.

On Rose Petals... No big fan here. Too cold. Mambas or Tasmans/D1's for me. 8) Or Spectrums (now we're dreaming!) or widened steelies (Firsat, etc). :) Rose Petals are too close to Mini Lites, which, along with Contessas, feel just a bit too common to me now...

They're a bit like standard rover wheels (even MINI ones), but obese...
