i say switch also, as once in a blue moon it happens on my clubby.

i am not certain, but you possibly will not be able to use a different switch to test it as you might need a specific two stage headlight switch.

luckily these are available NEW but not cheap from places like minisport who could post it out to you express or you can get one s/h from somewhere.

Everyone is only concerned with getting a lot of power to the globe and they all forget the black wire.

I had a similar problem on my F100 (but only one headlight due to the way it was wired) Dust behind a dodgy earth connection. Once you got the light to come on it would stay on.
