I'll buy EBC blacks for a road car until I can't buy them any more.
I have them in my 1275 LS (8.4"), and loved them. Old pads faded quick, and I can't remember ever feeling them fade. Never took it on track, but we aren't talking about track pads. Compared to a car i've driven with identical brake setup (another 1275 LS) but with greens... you'll love the blacks! I like arriving at the roundabout down the road on a cold morning, brakes cold, and being able to stop!
That's the kind of feedback I'm looking for. As I don't really autocross it (maybe 1 time every 2 years), and driving in hilly country happens 3 days out of the year, but I drive fast on local (flat), but curvy roads, the Green pads are under utilized. Believe me, I know how great the Greens are compared to stock pads in hill country, and I would go as far as to say that they saved my life going down a few 12% grade mountain roads. We don't have those roads here, and they just take way too much pedal pressure to get the car to stop when they are always cold.
Since I don't have any experience with Mintex, I'll probably just go for the EBC Black.
