Rubber cone suspension was bad enough back when you could buy genuine cones. Now....
Hydro is great here in NSW, where the broke Guvmint spends SFA fixing the crap roads up.

I just wish someone would start making OE type replacements. But I guess with the tooling required there's fat chance

You might find this of interest?

http://clubmangt.com.au/community/YaBB. ... 1244611126

Regarding restrictors in the lines, I know it has been tried, but I believe if the hole is too small, it can kind of pump up one end or the other if the fluid can't return quick enough.

I read somewhere that the works tried it for racing or rally and it tended to jack one end, probably the back!

Hi all

Starting from scratch, what is the best way to improve the handling of a hydro based mini.

(eg for track use, not road use)

thanks

i tried racing my near new 68 "S" up collingrove hillclimb. A hose let go and the suspension and sump dug in and the car landed on it's roof [after a couple of flips.]
If you are going racing go dry or coil over
