Hey all,

Well I am taking the car down to the mechanics to get him to check out my work and make sure I haven't built myself a death trap!

The car is in Moe, VIC and I am taking it to a respected mini guy in the area. His shop is coincidentally within about 500 metres of my minicave.

I am really tempted to just push it there as the engine isn't running and I don't have a car or trailer to tow with.

My problem lies in the fact that the van is door, bonnet and glass free. Do you think that this would be a problem if the cops happened to roll past? What would be the worst that would happen? Canary?

thanks for your thoughts in advance!

D

I think you would be very unlucky for a copper to see you down that part of Moe floss and besides, I am sure that if you are pushing it, there would not be any problems.

 Always helpful advice BIAM :!:
We thought you'd be the one that would buy the medical degree.....well you are the one who needs it most :!:

floss, Just go into the local police station and ask better than getting unhelpful responses from the likes of BIAM as per the norm :!:

I thought about going into the cop shop and asking but thought if they said " no you crazy fool that is the most crazy idea I have ever heard" and I did it anyway I couldn't play dumb and go "ohhh.... really officer, I had no idea that was the case"

Ohh and Poeee, hurry up with that medical degree my arm needs some work. Maybe you could get a psych degree for BIAM as well... he needs some anger management problems :)

Main question------ is the car registered------ and if it is, then the worst would just be a canary or ( If you fail the attitude test) what they call, driving a car that fails to comply with the standards for registration, as the car definately would be in this case.
Fine is about $187 and no points.

Don't take the risk, if you have an accident on the way, and if there were injuries the insurance and Cops would have a field day with you Goolies.....

that's often the most important part

what BIAM said is true - don't ask legal questions on ausmini, we're not the law...

The Best Legal advice I ever heard is,
If You want to be screwed go to a solicitor
If You want justice go to a prostitute.
