Fitted up an exhaust system which included welding up a broken bracket. Bolted on the carbie to the new engine. Wired up and fitted an electric fuel pump. Changed over the front drum system to a disc setup and bled the brakes. Readjusted the front wheel alignment temporarily till I can fit the longer tie rod ends before getting a proper alignment done. Whoa, I'm finished for the day. Start up tomorrow and tune.

Got the engine out and replaced the clutch in G13Bmini's car. Put it back in next week.

New steering column bush and new Ramflow air cleaner for the Weber on mine.
Put 10L of BP Ultimate in it too, all ready to race tomorrow.

changed driver's side front wheel bearings, passenger's side on Wednesday. fixed that squeak! found out ball joints need attention, will probably need new flanges, adjusted brakes, discussed my possible BHG...

have to find a bearing spacer or take bearings back as the place has given me the wrong ones. the ones i bought need the spacer, but the ones that came out have the spacer built in...

Fitted retractable seatbelts to rear as the kids were having too many problems adjusting them every time they got in. While doing this I moved the speakers to under the rear seat.
Then got stuck in to fitting the Rover rear tail lamps (with reversing lights). It was a lot easier than I thought as the fuel tank came out easily. Also fitted new fuel neck rubber while the tank was out.
Have got a funny clicking noise intermttantly coming from the front right so I thought I would jack it up and have a look. Could not find anything unusual, droped it back down, cleaned up and went to the footy (Titans V Warriors). Great game just got home Titans thrashed them. Might give it a wash tomorrow and go for a drive.

I AM FINALLY GETTING MAYSIE BACK FROM GREIG MALURE... FIXED..!!!

So I am going home to drive her, then wash her, then hug her, then cover her up, then hug her again, then sit back and appreciate the fact she is back....

And today, not even a week later, I left her on a patch of grass out front my brothers house because she is broken again.

Is it only me that finds the problem I'm having somewhat.... i dunno.... against nature?

The shed is finally up and built and ready for use so I want to move the old rust bucket mini thats in the backyard, into the shed so I can begin stripping it.

This is the bit I find just wrong...

I am a chick (incase anyone didnt catch that) and I am having trouble convincing my Hubby (who I can confirm is in fact a bloke) to help me move it..... What I'm proposing here is putting a car into a shed and pulling its bits out and filling said shed with the bits and fixing up another mini..... is this not what men live for?

Its what i want to do to my mini today but I'm hitting this strange wall... its like the time he got mad at me for leaving a starter motor on the kitchen bench? Its just not natural.

He should be out there helping you Foxy, as most of us blokes have the opposite problem.
Now that I'm mobile and have been able to get down to my shed ( which my wife has only been into once- she hates mess) I have been painting a few parts and my 1275 engine which I brought back from England

Decided on "Oil Stain Black" although I' hoping not to have too many and will leave other gearbox etc alloy.
I went to do the second coat of POR 15 on the subframes and having followed the directions and put gladwrap on the lid and placed in outside fridge to conserve-%**^(!! Wife has thrown out 1/2 can of POR 15 cause she thought it was old dog food #@^#$^&$&!!
I should know better and have the fridge in my shed.

Will be restoring the discs as soon as I get them so I can finish the front subframe
